Milly Brown Design launched in Spring 2025, born from a love of beautiful paper products, craftsmanship, and embossed design.Ten years ago, I completed a degree in Printed Textiles. During my studies, I developed a strong interest in traditional, handcrafted printing techniques and began exploring various methods of embossing fabric and paper. Since then, I’ve worked as a designer within the interior trade industry, creating and developing designs for clients and companies around the world.2025 marks an exciting new chapter as I launch my own creative venture, returning to the embossing techniques I first explored at university. I’ve since developed a unique embossing method, which forms the foundation of a new collection of greeting cards. Unlike traditional printing, each design is pressed directly into the paper, resulting in a raised, sculptural surface with a distinctive tactile quality.Every card is designed and hand-pressed in my London studio. My style is simple and considered, embracing the natural imperfections of handcrafted work while ensuring a high-quality product is made for purchase.I have many exciting plans in the pipeline—so do keep an eye out for what’s to come!
